The Australian Glass and Glazing Association (AGGA), the peak body representing the glass and glazing industry will be joining 米6米乐体育 2017 for the first time as a supporting partner, bringing their world leading training to the show floor, this 3-5 May.

The Association has a vision to support the long-term viability of the Australian glass and glazing industry and to establish the sector as a provider of safe, high quality and sustainable glass and glazing products and services. The also AGGA runs an Accredited Company Program so that consumers can be confident their glass & glazing meets Australian Standards, and the installer follows best practice in quality and safety.

As part of its remit the association continues to promote the high level of Australian glazier qualification and delivery structures across the world, with international glazing bodies, The National Glass Association of America and the South African Glass and Glazing Association both adopting the AGGA online programs as the main delivery mechanism training glaziers. Discussions are also progressing with both international associations in 2017 around possible customisation and implementation of a Master Glazier program in each country.

In addition, a full mapping program is underway for New Zealand flat glass qualification and the United Kingdom glass and glazing qualification, both of which will need to meet Australian requirements to be eligible for the Master Glazier program.

To find out more about the glazing programs on offer , don’t forget to drop by the AGGA stand A47 onsite at 米6米乐体育, 3-5 May 2017, ICC Sydney. Register here for free and skip the queues onsite.
