米6米乐体育 is over for another year and the show certainly proved it has become a three-day celebration of new ideas and a platform for visitors to be inspired, refreshed and re-energised.

Visitor numbers were higher than the successful 2016 Melbourne show and exceeded all predictions.

Exhibitors showcased a record number of new product launches in the landscape, structural & material, building technology, and interior fixtures and finishes sectors. With so many new products to experience, visitor feedback was extremely positive.

Under the management of new Event Manager Mr, Jamie Butler-Underwood, the show was bigger and brighter than ever. Jamie recently joined 米6米乐体育 from Fairfax Media where he spent two years developing the event portfolio.

“There was a great energy at this year’s event with professionals visiting the show from many sectors of the building industry and an increased attendance from architects and designers,” said Jamie.

“We were very ambitious with our speaker program this year with great results as international leaders such as Michael Lockwood from Populous and Mal Corboy from New Zealand who delighted their audiences,” he said.

米6米乐体育 2017 was the first building and architectural event to be held at Sydney’s 1.5 billion International Convention Centre. Visitors took advantage of the ICC back of house tours showing the inner workings of this state-of-the-art facility, expertly guided by the ICC Sydney team and the leading designers from the venue’s joint venture architects from HASSELL + Populous.

Incubator once again proved a popular highlight of the show with up-and-coming Australian businesses showcasing their talent. Incubator exhibitors reported they had gained many new relationships and leads at 米6米乐体育 which will assist them take their business to the next level.

Visitors were also very impressed with the student design and build of the two speaker theatres and the Incubator pavilion as part of 米6米乐体育 RAW – run in partnership with the University of New South Wales, University of Sydney and the University of Technology Sydney.
